BULLETINS / NEWS
January 18th-25th - Octave of Prayer for Christian Unity.
This important annual week of prayer begins on January 18th and always concludes with the feast of the Conversion of the Apostle Paul on January 25. This year our local service to make the Week of prayer is hosted and lead by us at Holy Family Church Warton. Monday 20th January at 7pm. A service of the Word and of prayer (lasting about 45/50 minutes) to help cement the already covenanted church relationships in Freckleton/Warton. Please make every effort to attend and support this great venture.
Appeal for Lepra charity January 25-26.
Lepra is a charity which helps treat and support the poorest of the poor who live with the disease Leprosy. Over 3 million people across the globe are living with undiagnosed leprosy. Leprosy is not a disease of the past, it still exists and it is still destroying lives. This charity helps to alleviate the effects of this crippling disease in India, Bangladesh and Ethiopia. Please support the work of this charity who are assisting some of the poorest and most socially isolated people across humanity. A retiring collection will be taken at our Sunday Masses over this weekend.
