Monsignor Aidan Turner - Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Saturday 20th May '17
The Golden Jubilee Celebration, 20th May, 2017: This coming together to celebrate Fr Aidan's Jubilee brought together many talents in the planning and organisation of invitations, the order of service, the marquee, the food and drink, the music, the tables/chairs, the parking and much more! The whole Community and their support ensured that the event was memorable and successful. Visitors came from far and wide, some even from Brazil(!) with approximately 380 people attending. Never was such a great congregation assembled at St Anne's, Westby! Thanks are due to everyone, but especially to Jane Robinson who masterminded the whole event. For so many happy memories and Fr Aidan's 50 years of service, we give thanks.
